             *** Note: Windows installation needed for SMC console (Linux tarballs only contain squidnetd daemon).

• Mixed O/S Environement: Please make sure to download and install the same installer version on each host.
• Note to Linux Users: The SquidNet daemon uses the following network ports: TCP port 17394 and UDP ports 17395/17396. Please make sure you open these ports up in your firewall ("Other Ports") and make sure that the local interface (eth*) is marked as trusted in the Trusted Interfaces page. Not doing so will cause tipnode detection issues.
